Basketball Recap: East Liverpool Wins Going Away Against St. Clairsville

East Liverpool lost to St. Clairsville back in January of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The East Liverpool Potters blew past the St. Clairsville Red Devils 49-27.

East Liverpool is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points per game. As for St. Clairsville, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

East Liverpool will head out on the road to take on Union Local at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Clairsville, they will be home for the holidays to greet Beaver Local at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Clairsville is facing Beaver Local at the right time seeing as Beaver Local is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
