Abbeville skates past Crowley with ease

The Abbeville Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Crowley on the road to the tune of 74-17. Abbeville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 28 points or more this season.

Several Gent players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Alaysia Arvie, who scored ten points along with two steals. That was a full 58.8% of Crowley's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Abbeville's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Crowley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Erath the next time they take the court. Abbeville will host Erath at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Crowley will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
