Basketball Game Preview: Choctaw County Chargers vs. Noxapater Tigers

The Choctaw County Chargers will face off against the Noxapater Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Choctaw County will be strutting in after a victory while Noxapater will be coming in after a loss.

Choctaw County will head into Friday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 36-point they dealt Ethel on Friday. Choctaw County blew past Ethel 66-30. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Chargers have posted since November 12th.

Jaraya Woodard went supernova for Choctaw County, putting up 20 points in addition to six steals and five boards. Another player making a difference was Laila Woods, who posted eight points, to go along with six boards and six steals.

Meanwhile, Noxapater came up short against Enterprise on Friday and fell 52-42.

Noxapater has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Choctaw County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Choctaw County was able to grind out a solid victory over Noxapater in their previous meeting back in November, winning 54-47. Does Choctaw County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Noxapater turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
