Walkertown waltzed into their contest on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Millennium Lions. For the Wolfpack, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in August of 2023.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 21-25, 25-11, 25-18.

Madison Holmes paced Walkertown's offense, picking up 14 kills. Holmes got some help from Chloe Isaacs and her 24 assists. Isaacs was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Walkertown's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Millennium, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

Coming up, Walkertown will host Rockingham County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolfpack are facing the Cougars at the right time seeing as the Cougars are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Millennium, they will face off against Phoenix Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
