Softball Recap: Enfield Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Enfield can now relate to. They fell just short of the Ridgefield Tigers by a score of 5-3 on Wednesday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Enfield saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cassidy Wallner, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Enfield's loss dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Ridgefield, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

While Enfield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
