Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Copper Basin). They put the hurt on the McMinn Central Chargers with a sharp 15-9 win on Tuesday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by six runs or more this season.

Claire Ledford was incredible, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Alexis Hyatt also deserves some recognition as she scored her first runs of the season.

Copper Basin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Copper Basin pushed their record up to 6-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
