Football Recap: West Orange Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

West Orange took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Evans Trojans by a score of 28-18. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 39-13 victory the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Andrew Chung had a dynamite game, throwing for 267 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes. Those 267 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Edison Delgado was in the mix too, providing West Orange with two scores.

West Orange's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. Leading the way was Nolan Turner with three sacks. West Orange received some extra help from Dylan Hoskins, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Coming up, West Orange will head out on the road to take on Wekiva at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Evans, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Apopka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
