Ridgewood put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed past the Sandy Valley Cardinals to the tune of 48-7. Given the Generals' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Cardinals are ranked 648th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ridgewood's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Sandy Valley, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Ridgewood is set to square off against their familiar foe Indian Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Generals 5.9, the Braves 11.7) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Sandy Valley will face off against rival Claymont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
