Volleyball Recap: Osborne Cardinals vs. Douglas County Tigers
It was a proper cat-fight when Osborne took on Douglas County on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The defeat continues a trend for the Cardinals in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.
Julianis Facey paced Osborne's offense, picking up three kills. Facey got some help from Sofia Gomez and her five assists. Hanley Gonzales controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.
Osborne's loss dropped their record down to 7-23. As for Douglas County, their victory bumped their record up to 15-13.
Coincidentally, Osborne and Douglas County will both be playing Alexander the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will head out to face the Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
