Softball Recap: Gainesville Comes Up Short

Gainesville fell victim to Valley View and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Valley View Eagles, falling 14-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Leopards were not able to get on the board.

Gainesville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kennedy Dodson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Gainesville is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. As for Valley View, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gainesville will take on Ford in a tournament on Thursday. As for Valley View, they will face off against Nocona at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
