Baseball Recap: Holly Pond Comes Up Short

Holly Pond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Hokes Bluff Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Broncos of the 21-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2022.

Holly Pond's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Hokes Bluff, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-10.

Looking ahead, Holly Pond will be playing at home against Cleveland at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hokes Bluff, they will head out on the road to challenge Westbrook Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
