Volleyball Recap: Clayton Valley Charter Gets the Win

Clayton Valley Charter posted their closest victory since March 2, 2024 on Saturday. They won by a set and slipped past the Pitman Pride 2-1.

Markeidon Schaeffer-Jules paced Clayton Valley Charter's offense, picking up seven kills. Schaeffer-Jules got some help from Jeremy Oviedo and his 11 assists. Finally, DeAngelo Gasalatan kept Clayton Valley Charter's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Clayton Valley Charter now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Pitman, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Clayton Valley Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Harbor on the 1st. As for Pitman, they will take on El Capitan at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
