Softball Recap: Dawson-Bryant Hornets vs. Rock Hill Redmen
If Dawson-Bryant was riding high fresh off their 19-0 takedown of Minford last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets fell 4-1 to the Rock Hill Redmen on Wednesday. The Hornets were not able to make up for their loss to the Redmen from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.
Dawson-Bryant saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylee Bare, who went 1-for-3 with one double. That double marked the first that Bare hit this season.
Dawson-Bryant's defeat ended an 11-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-3. As for Rock Hill, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record.
