Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Takes a Loss

Lutheran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Auburn Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 last Tuesday.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Auburn, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-10.

Looking ahead, Lutheran will head out on the road to challenge Mt. Pulaski at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Auburn, they will host PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
