Haynes Academy is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Ponchatoula just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 5-1 to the Green Wave. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Haynes Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Evie Boyd, who's now up to 11 this season.

Meanwhile, Cabrini managed to keep up with Ursuline Academy until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Cabrini came up short against Ursuline Academy, falling 5-0. Having soared to a lofty ten goals in the game before, the Crescents' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cabrini's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Haynes Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
