Soccer Preview: Pisgah vs. Tuscola
Pisgah is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Tuscola a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Pisgah Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tuscola Mountaineers at 6:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.
The home team had come away the winner the last four times Pisgah and West Henderson had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bears fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Tuscola came up short against Franklin on Wednesday and fell 3-1. Kohl Rudd was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on his (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.
Tuscola's goal came courtesy of Stonewall Strickland, who's now up to 11 this season.
