Softball Recap: Mandarin's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

Mandarin got themselves on the board against Andrew Jackson on Thursday, but Andrew Jackson never followed suit. They blew past the Andrew Jackson Tigers 10-0. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by six runs or more this season.

MaKayla Oxley was incredible, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Gracianna Peck-Headley, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Mandarin's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-4. As for Andrew Jackson, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Mandarin will head out to face off against Sandalwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Andrew Jackson, they will face off against Atlantic Coast at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Atlantic Coast will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Andrew Jackson surely won't give up without a fight.
