Softball Recap: Herculaneum Black Cats vs. Affton Cougars
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Herculaneum). Everything went their way against the Affton Cougars on Monday as the Herculaneum Black Cats made off with a 21-5 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Black Cats considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Herculaneum moved to 5-8 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Affton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-17 record this season.
Herculaneum does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Affton, they will square off against Pacific at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
