Basketball Recap: Farmington Wins Going Away Against Weber

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Syracuse, Farmington was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the Weber Warriors as the Farmington Phoenix made off with a 51-29 victory. This was a revenge game for the Phoenix: when they faced off against the Warriors back in January, they had to take a 53-44 defeat.

Among those leading the charge was Morgan Rogers, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. Makelle Weber was another key player, putting up 13 points and six rebounds.

Despite the loss, Weber still got an impressive performance from Rylee Jugler, who posted ten points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Abby Sayer, who put up eight points.

Farmington's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9. As for Weber, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Farmington will be playing at home against Fremont at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Weber, they are taking a road trip to take on Syracuse at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Syracuse will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Weber surely won't give up without a fight.
