Saraland won the last time they faced Gulf Shores and things went their way on Friday too. The Saraland Spartans walked away with an 11-6 victory over the Gulf Shores Dolphins. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Cade Mason looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jacob Rowell, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Hudson Robbins, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.

Saraland's record now sits at 2-0. As for Gulf Shores, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saraland will welcome Oxford at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gulf Shores, they will be playing at home against American Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
