Softball Recap: Clearfield Takes a Loss

Clearfield and Olympus squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Clearfield had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Falcons couldn't push the score so high this time.

Clearfield saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addyson Haddock, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Clearfield's loss dropped their record down to 16-10. As for Olympus, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season.

Clearfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Olympus, they will face off against Box Elder at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bees will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight.
