Soccer Game Preview: Louisa County vs. L.C. Bird

The Louisa County Lions will head out on the road to challenge the L.C. Bird Skyhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Louisa County's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Louisa County's offense. They came up short against Orange County on Thursday, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, L.C. Bird's game last Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Their defense stepped up to hand Highland Springs a 1-0 shutout. The victory continues a trend for L.C. Bird in their matchups with Highland Springs: they've now won three in a row.

Louisa County's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for L.C. Bird, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.
