West Mecklenburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Myers Park Mustangs. While losing is never fun, West Mecklenburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 408th, while Myers Park are ranked first).

West Mecklenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8-2. As for Myers Park, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
