Basketball Game Preview: Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets vs. Southern Nash Firebirds

Roanoke Rapids and Southern Nash are an even 4-4 against one another since December of 2021, but not for long. The Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets will welcome the Southern Nash Firebirds at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Last Friday, Roanoke Rapids strolled past Bunn with points to spare, taking the game 57-40. That looming 57-40 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Yellowjackets yet this season.

Meanwhile, Southern Nash scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to Rocky Mount 65-61. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (60), the Firebirds still had to take the loss.

The victory made it two in a row for Roanoke Rapids and bumps their season record up to 8-5. As for Southern Nash, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.
