Softball Recap: Roseville Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Roseville waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Nevada Union Miners 17-6. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-5 back in April.

Roseville got a massive performance out of McKenna Patterson, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and four RBI. Jocelyn Solorio was another key player, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Roseville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.7 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 contests they've averaged 9.4.

Roseville's record is now 12-9. As for Nevada Union, they dropped their record down to 3-17-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
