Basketball Game Preview: St. Paul Knights vs. Blackstone-Millville Chargers

The St. Paul Knights are taking a road trip to square off against the Blackstone-Millville Chargers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Blackstone-Millville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Paul, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, St. Paul beat Doherty Memorial 54-48. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Meanwhile, Blackstone-Millville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Leicester by a score of 32-29 on Friday. The Chargers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row dating back to last season.

Despite the defeat, Blackstone-Millville saw an underclassman step up: freshman Natalia Morais posted 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Marren Berry, who earned seven points.
