Soccer Game Preview: North Thurston vs. Capital

The North Thurston Rams will venture away from home to take on the Capital Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Thurston will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each match than the last.

North Thurston proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lakes, sneaking past 4-3.

Meanwhile, Capital hadn't done well against Peninsula recently (they were 1-7-1 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Cougars never let the Seahawks get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Jaden Annan had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Capital.

North Thurston is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those five games. As for Capital, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-3.
