Volleyball Recap: Hershey Beats Sutherland for Their Third Straight Victory

Hershey entered their tilt with Sutherland on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Sailors with a sharp 3-0 win. The Panthers were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Sailors, so the Panthers were just returning the favor.

Hershey was especially dominant in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19, 25-8.

Demi Damoude paced Hershey's offense, picking up nine kills. Damoude got some help from Kenna Bringewatt and her 15 assists. Bringewatt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Hershey's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Sutherland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.

Hershey has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against St. Patrick's on the 11th. As for Sutherland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Kimball on the 10th.
