Basketball Recap: Illinois C Takes a Loss

Illinois C was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Columbus HomeSchool Hawks and fell 94-51. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 67-41 back in December of 2024.

It was another big night for Kaden Greenlee, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 12 assists for Columbus HomeSchool. Greenlee's afternoon made it 23 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Nat Farnsley, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds.

Illinois C's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Columbus HomeSchool, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-8.

Illinois C does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbus HomeSchool, they will take on Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Indianapolis HomeSchool Wildcats' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten contests.
