Baseball Recap: Wood River Comes Up Short

Wood River lost against Twin Falls on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wolverines came up short against the Bruins, falling 16-2. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sully Carter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-2. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Wood River's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Twin Falls, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wood River will take on Filer in a tournament on Friday. As for Twin Falls, they will venture away from home to challenge Canyon Ridge at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
