Russia put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 47-36 win over the Botkins Trojans. The 47-point effort marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Russia's victory was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-0. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points over those games. As for Botkins, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Russia will take on Fort Loramie at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th. As for Botkins, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Shawnee at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Shawnee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
