Softball Game Preview: Brewster Bears vs. Okanogan Bulldogs

Brewster is 0-10 against Okanogan since April of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 4:30 p.m. Brewster will be strutting in after a victory while Okanogan will be coming in after a loss.

While Brewster's win against Omak wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bears narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Pioneers 6-5. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Okanogan had taken Chelan down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end last Thursday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Mountain Goats, falling 20-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered against the Mountain Goats since April 28, 2016.

Okanogan now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Brewster, they picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 2-3.

Brewster might still be hurting after the 17-7 loss they got from Okanogan in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
