Basketball Recap: Fairlawn Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Fairlawn came into Saturday's match having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds 43-24 on Saturday.

Fairlawn's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-15. As for Lima Central Catholic, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairlawn will square off against Houston at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lima Central Catholic, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lima Senior at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lima Senior will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Lima Central Catholic surely won't give up without a fight.
