Volleyball Recap: Parker Comes Up Short

Parker was the 3-1 winner over Fairfield when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Thundering Herd lost 3-0 to the Tigers on Wednesday.

Parker was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-13, 25-18.

LaKhari Yellock paced Parker's offense, picking up ten kills. Yellock got some help from Leigh Thomas and her ten assists. Thomas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Parker's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fairfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parker will head out to face off against Homewood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairfield, they will face off against Indian Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
