It was a good run, but Harrison Central unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 5-2 to the Chippewa Chipps.

Harrison Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Chippewa, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-7.

Coming up, Harrison Central will take on Monroe Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chippewa, they will square off against St. Clairsville at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Chipps 4, the Red Devils 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
