Football Recap: Hotchkiss School Comes Up Short

Hotchkiss School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 30-13 fall against the Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut football rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Wild Boars are ranked fourth).

Hotchkiss School's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Choate Rosemary Hall School, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Hotchkiss School will host Trinity-Pawling School at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bearcats will be up against the Pride's rather soft defense (which has allowed 48.4 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Choate Rosemary Hall School, they will head out to take on Loomis Chaffee School at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
