Basketball Recap: Mulberry Takes a Loss

Mulberry lost against Scranton back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mulberry Yellowjackets were dealt a 49-22 loss at the hands of the Scranton Rockets. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 273rd, while the Rockets are ranked 107th).

Mulberry has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 14 of their last 16 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season. As for Scranton, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-2.

Mulberry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-27 defeat against Magazine on the 7th. Scranton has also already played their next contest (against Western Yell County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
