Volleyball Recap: Sarasota Christian Blazers vs. Babcock Trailblazers
Sarasota Christian proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Babcock Trailblazers, sneaking past 3-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Blazers also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.
Sarasota Christian was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (104-103), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-21, 15-11.
When it comes to explaining why Babcock lost, don't look at Talia Matten. Despite the final result, she had 38 digs and two aces. Jaylene Collazo was another key player, getting nine digs and two aces.
