Basketball Recap: Thornton Wildcats vs. Lemont Lemont HS

Thornton and Lemont squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Thornton had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 70-40 loss at the hands of the Lemont Lemont HS. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Wildcats have suffered since February 2nd.

Thornton's loss came despite strong showings from Deandre Higgs and Jordan Maple. Higgs posted ten points and five boards, while Maple had 16 points. Another player making a difference was Jeremy Blanco-Rios, who earned ten points.
