Wayland fell victim to Northview and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 10-0 to Northview. Wayland's loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Wayland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hoyt Borgic, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.

Wayland's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Northview, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

While Wayland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
