Martin has gone 10-0 against Bowie recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Martin Warriors will welcome the Bowie Volunteers at 7:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Martin ended up a good deal behind Grand Prairie and lost 48-33. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Bowie came into Tuesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down Sam Houston 71-55 on Tuesday. Given the Volunteers' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Texans are ranked 452nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Martin dropped their record down to 13-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Bowie, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-8.

Martin didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Bowie in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 54-49 victory. Will Martin repeat their success, or does Bowie have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
