Basketball Recap: Othello Comes Up Short

Othello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 62-51 to the Quincy Jackrabbits. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 79-34 back in December of 2024.

Othello's record now sits at 0-15. As for Quincy, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-9 record.

Othello and Grandview will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Grandview's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven matchups. As for Quincy, they will square off against Ephrata at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
