McMichael waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Walkertown Wolfpack 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-10.

Emily Smith was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and two aces.

Smith wasn't the only good servers: McMichael was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 15 aces in three consecutive matchups.

McMichael's victory bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Walkertown, their loss ended a nine-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-5.

McMichael didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Reidsville on the 25th. As for Walkertown, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Morehead on the 25th.
