After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Diboll, Rusk was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Center Roughriders with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Rusk was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-17.

Rusk is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-15 record this season. As for Center, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 15 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Rusk is set to face off against their familiar foe Hudson at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Center will challenge rival Bullard at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
