It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ridgeline had no problem doing just that on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Hurricane Tigers 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Riverhawks who have now won four contests in a row.

Ridgeline took Hurricane into a fifth set where they got it done with a 11-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 17-25, 19-25, 15-4.

Despite the loss, Hurricane still got an impressive performance from Hallee Wardle, who had 18 digs and two aces. Wardle is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last 16 games she's played.

Ridgeline's victory bumped their record up to 16-13. As for Hurricane, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 16-13 record this season.

Ridgeline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Orem on the 1st. Hurricane has also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Dixie on the 1st.
