Volleyball Recap: Pocatello Comes Up Short

Pocatello's tournament run continued when they took on Lake City on Friday. The Thunder fell just short of the Timberwolves by a score of 3-2. The Thunder have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Abby Lusk paced Pocatello's offense, picking up 16 kills. Lusk got some help from Josie Haymore and her 18 assists. Lusk was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Pocatello's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Lake City, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 5-11 record.

Pocatello has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Coeur d'Alene on the 4th. As for Lake City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Centennial on the 3rd.
