Basketball Recap: Apex Skates Past Middle Creek with Ease + How To Watch

Apex had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 39-point drubbing they dealt Middle Creek on Monday. The Cougars breezed past the Mustangs to the tune of 63-24. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Cougars had established a 34-point advantage.

Apex found their leader in sophomore Jordan Mele, who shot 54% from the field to rack up 22 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Pease, who went 6-for-14 on her way to 17 points.
