Hayfield is a perfect 8-0 against Lewis since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hawks will square off against the Lancers at 7:15 p.m. Hayfield's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Monday, Hayfield didn't have quite enough to beat Washington-Liberty and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Lewis has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They fell just short of Falls Church by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Hayfield now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Lewis, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4-1.

Everything went Hayfield's way against Lewis in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Hayfield made off with a 12-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hawks since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
