Baseball Recap: Sunset Park Takes a Loss

The Sunset Park HEAT came up short against the Telecommunication Arts Tech Yellowjackets on Wednesday, falling 13-3. The HEAT have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sunset Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Oscar Garcia, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Garcia also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Marcel Cruz was another, scoring a run and stealing three bases.

Sunset Park's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Telecommunication Arts Tech, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Coming up, Sunset Park will face off against Lafayette at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Telecommunication Arts Tech, they will challenge Grady at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
