Festus proved they can win big on Thursday (they won by six) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Windsor Owls 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Owls: they've now won seven in a row.

Festus saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Smith, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double. Parker Perry also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Festus' record now sits at 9-2. As for Windsor, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Festus will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Owls: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
